Please contact your teacher as soon as possible to discuss EACH of the three parties you are responsible for organizing. The teachers may have other ideas or expectations to take in account when planning your celebration. The three parties include Halloween Party, Winter/Holiday Party, and Year End Party.
- Halloween Party: October 31st, 2023
- Winter/Holiday Party: December 22nd, 2023
- Year End Party: To be determined by each classroom teacher
Next, send a note via backpack and/or through email to all of your classroom parents giving everyone an opportunity to come to your planning meeting or be a part of the celebration. The planning meeting should be held no later than 2-3 weeks before the scheduled party. Even if there are parents unable to attend the planning meeting, they may still offer ideas or donate party supplies. Once the planning of the party is finalized, please send a reminder note out to those that are helping, donating items and/or attending the party.
Room Parents are also responsible for communicating and coordinating information regarding class donations for Winter Wonderland and Fun Fair baskets. If unable to coordinate yourself, please work to find a parent who is able to assist you. Specific directions will be provided well ahead of time to you by the event chair.
